NEWCASTLE Earl Huntsman from Provo is here for a visit with his grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Effie Beacham. Mrs. Kumen Gardner and son Paul of Cedar City were recent visitors at the Moroni Gillies home. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Sorenson and family spent the week end in Orderville and Alton visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Gillies accompanied ac-companied their son, Fred Gillies Gil-lies of Las Vegas, to Salt Lake City for Conference. A group of the young people went to Veyo Sunday afternoon for the opening of the Veyo swimming pool. An enjoyable social held by the Mutual Improvement Association Asso-ciation Tuesday evening was well attended. As president, Theodore Roosevelt Roose-velt created five national parks, 51 bird sanctuaries and four big game refuges.
