Show R 0 T C Cadets Present Annual Military Ball The annual Military Ball, highlight of the social season at " the College of Southern Utah, Will be staged in the C S U ballroom ball-room Saturday evening, April 10. with the Jury Hyde-Don Tommey j "Skyliner" orchestra of Provo, contracted to furnish the music for the evening. The "Skyliners," a 12-piece orchestra, or-chestra, featuring Connie Anast as vocalist, has become popular at the Brigham Young University Universi-ty and should prove to be an outstanding feature of this year's . ball. Completely redecorated, the C S U ballroom will be used fur this strictly formal occasion, and the atmosphere of. the ballroom and the attractive snack bar and lounge will contribute to the sue-1 cess of the affair, cadets at the college believe. The ball is under the sponsorship sponsor-ship of the R O T C unit at the school and the cadets arc being assisted by the sponsor corps as well. Invitations to the dance have been sent out to townspeople, educators and other groups. Citizens Citi-zens of Cedar City and surrounding surround-ing communities have been invited in-vited to attend. Gov. J. Bracken Lee received a personal invitation invita-tion from a group of cadets and sponsors who treked to the Capital Capi-tal city last week. Tickets are on advanced sale at the college registrar's office and at Cowley Drug and Zion Candy Kitchen in Cedar City. |
