Show AF R0TC Detachment Requires Fillers For 1955 Vacancies More than 400 airmen vacancies vacan-cies must he filled in the more than 200 Air Force R O T C detachments de-tachments piior to the 1!)")") -5f academic vear, Major General M. K. D'Mcholmann, commandant, command-ant, Headquarters AF KOTC, in Montgomery, Ala., has advised Ft. Col. Homer I Anderson, associate as-sociate professor of air science at the College of Southern Utah. Vacancies will exist at many western colleges, including C S U, and a new policy allows airmen now stationed overseas to appy for stateside KOTC duty. Previous policy restricted the submission of applications to per sonnel on duty in the United States. Beginning in March 1955, the vacancies will exist at nearly all of the colleges and universities universi-ties having AF KOTC detachments detach-ments for airmen qualified in supply, administration, personnel person-nel or "ducat ion. Qualifications and the procedure proced-ure for applying for Air Force R O T C duty are contained in A Fit 39-5G availbale at any Air Force base or college department of air science. The normal tour of duty with AF KOTC detachments is three years. |
