Show Miss JoAnn Schofield Will Wed In Nevada Ceremony Friday evening, April 2 at Ely, Nevada a double-ring wedding ceremony will be performed to unite Miss JoAnn Schofield, Cedar City and Lewis E. Cripps, in wedlock, wed-lock, it was announced this week by Mr. and Mrs. John J. Miathies, parents of the prospective bride. The wedding will be performed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cripps at Ely, with Bishop Bish-op Ross Prince officiating. Mr. Cripps is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Judd of Ely. The young couple will be honored hon-ored at a reception that same evening at the Cripps home. The following week, April 10, a re-j re-j ception will be held in Cedar City J at the Third Ward Relief Society i rooms. Attendants at the nuptial af-j af-j fair will be Dorothy Maithies as , maid of honor, and Mrs. Paul ' Butcher as matron of honor. Best 1 man will be Milton Judd. ! Miss Schofield is a graduate 1 of the Cedar City High School i and the Branch Agricultural College Col-lege and has been employed by the Southern Utah Power Com-pany Com-pany since her graduation. Mr. j Cripps, a native of Ely, has I served a three-year tour of duty I with the United States Navy and is presently employed at Ely, where the young couple will make tseir home. |
