Cedar Serviceman Trains On Army Railroad Pvt. Jerrold D. Pearce, serving with the United States Army at Fort Eustis, Va., and son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pearce of New Harmony, is presently undergoing undergo-ing additional training with the 702nd Transportation Group following fol-lowing the completion of his basic ba-sic training at Fort Ord, Calif. Jerrold is a graduate of the Cedar City High School and prior to his entrance into military service ser-vice was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. According to word received here he will now complete additional addi-tional training in a military occupational oc-cupational specialty school by actually working on-the-job on the only railroad within the continental con-tinental U. S. that is completely operated by the military, the Fort Eustis rail system.
