Show Date Change Made In Miss Cedar City Contest April Fool is here at last and the Junior Chamber of Commerce Miss Cedar City Pageant committee commit-tee has been waiting for this opportunity op-portunity on so famous a day as April Fool's Day to explain a mix-up on dates for the pageant. Last week the Record published pub-lished information that the contest con-test would be held on this date, April 1, but since that time circumstances cir-cumstances involving availabilty of the contestants and appropriate appropri-ate accommodations have arisen. As a result the committee was forced to move the date to Tuesday, Tues-day, April 6. This date has been cleared with everyone concerned and arrangements have been completed to hold the affair in the Parks Theatre at 8 p. m. Rehearsals at the theatre have already been held and everything every-thing is in readiness for an outstanding out-standing evening of entertainment. entertain-ment. Burns K. Sherratt, energetic Jaycee woiker and ardent booster boos-ter of Cedar City, will act in the capacity of master of ceremonies and previews would have it that he has a number of topnotch ideas for the show. Mrs. Elaine Southwick, practically prac-tically a permanent part of the pageant, has been working with the young ladies to insure a good show and to help the girls present pre-sent themselves in the most attractive at-tractive manner. Candidates are pictured throughout through-out the paper with their sponsors spon-sors and their individual talents listed. Check the list of candidates candi-dates and plan to attend the pageant pa-geant Tuesday, April fi at 8 p. m. at the Parks Theatre.
