Show I NEWS FROM KANARRAVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Jess F. Williams were honored Sunday, Nov. 11 from 2 to 8 p. m. at an open house, planned by their sons and daughters on their Golden Wedding Wed-ding anniversary. Many friends and relatives from here and surrounding sur-rounding towns called during the day. Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Williams Wil-liams have returned home after visiting in Bulls Head, Ariz. A daughter was born at the Iron County hospital Nov. 7 to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pollock. Several of our townspeople attended at-tended the funeral of Mrs. Marie Williams at Washington, Utah last week. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. William Pollock Pol-lock of Tropic, Utah visited with relatives here Sunday. Relief Society conference was held here Sunday with Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Bethers of the Cedar stake board in attendance. Some of our townspeople attended at-tended the wedding reception at New Harmony Nov. 7 for Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt. La Wayne Isom, son of Mrs. Vaughn Isom is home on a furlough fur-lough from his camp in the state of Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Perry O. Wil liams of Logan came to attend the funeral of their sister-in-law Mrs. Marie Williams of Washington. Washing-ton. They returned home the next day. Perry is attending school at the U S A C. Sam L. Pollock spent a few-days few-days last week in Hurricane visiting vis-iting with his daughter and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Williams and children and Mrs. Velma Peterson and daughters have returned re-turned to their home in Boulder City, Nev. and Davis Dam, Ariz., respectively, after spending a few days here. They came for the Golden Wedding celebration of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams. Mrs. Hazel Davis attended the funeral of her half-brother, Benjamin Ben-jamin Blake, Jr., at Pleasant Grove last week. |
