Show Utah Guard Unit j Gets Superior j Inspection Rating It was announced Friday at t ho Utali National Guant head-1 quarters in Salt Lake City that the headquarters and headquar- I tors batteries of the 213th and! 201th Field Artillery battalions of the Utah National Guard had' been awarded the highest possible pos-sible rating by the inspector general's gen-eral's office. When the annual federal inspection in-spection was recently completed complet-ed by Lt. Col. Eugene Smith, in- snooting officer from the Sixth Army headquarters, the local national na-tional guard units were given a ratins of "superior" the highest j rating a unit can receive, the state guard officials announced. In his official report to the inspector general's office, Col. Smith described the "extremely high average of intelligents" of the enlisted men in the Utah I National Guard. "This unit is operating In a superior manner", he reported. There are four possible ratings a unit can receive: superior, excellent, ex-cellent, satisfactory and unsatisfactory. |
