Show Staff Starts Work On Yearbook; Theme Is Chosen The staff for the Cedar City high school yearbook, "The Cedarian" Ce-darian" has been completed and work is well under way, under the direction of Pat Lampman, editor. All work on the yearbook is to be done by the students, with Mrs. James Amend, English instructor, as advisor, and the work to be done outside of school time. Assisting Miss Lampman on the staff are Keith Cooley, assistant as-sistant editor; Barlow White, Gordon Sargent and Geraldine Rollo, business managers; Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Hulet and Nedra Dalley, senior class representatives; Geraldine Ger-aldine Douglas and Kay Smith, junior representatives; Don Ash-cioft Ash-cioft and Norma Knight, sophomore sopho-more representative; Cleone Heyborne, copy editor; Mona I!ae Milne, picture editor; Lloyd Crawford and Claudine Cowan, art editors; Laurel Lunt, Barbara Munford and Jeannine Thompson, Thomp-son, snap shots; Colleen Bauer, JoAnn Beasley and Janeen Beas-ley, Beas-ley, typists, and Roy Stephenson, sports editor. The theme of this year's book will be based on freedom and dedicated to the freedom of American Youth. Publication of the book is financed fi-nanced through student subscriptions subscrip-tions and advertising, and the students this year as in the past appreciate very much the support sup-port they receive from the business busi-ness firms of the community through advertising. A student subscription campaign cam-paign opens at the school today, - Miss Lampman reports, and will continue until the Thanksgiving holiday vacation. The purchase price of the book is $3.50 and each student is being asked to contract for his copy by the deposit de-posit of $1.00 at the present time. |
