A novelty number will be done by Mr. and Mrs. Kent Dover, and Haze Hunter, Howard Thor-ley, Thor-ley, Leo Cahoon, Furl Porter, Wallace Osborne and Max Webb will appear as dancers. Ushers, who keep the crowd in good humor until the curtain rises, will be Reed Bradshaw, Gail Duncan, Gene Hardy and Leonard Whiting. Mrs. Beth Leigh will be in charge of music for the show and as usual is working hard with soloists and vocal ensembles ensem-bles as well as with the chorus. Mrs. LaVeve Whetten is training train-ing the dancers. Tickets for the Minstrel went on sale this morning, and may be purchased at the Thornton Drug store, Cowley Drug store, from any member of the club, or at the door the night of the show. All funds raised through the presentation pre-sentation of the Minstrel will be used for the club's community service activities. The entire performance will be recorded and the tape sent to the National Guard unit serving in Korea. The Minstrel will be presented in the public school auditorium at 8 p. m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22. |
