Show KANARRAVILLE Hannah Davis The Yuletide season and the swing of parties and holiday activities ac-tivities got under way Tuesday evening with the M I A. They went caroling over the town, returned re-turned to the church and enjoyed hot chocolate and doughnuts prepared pre-pared by the M I A officers. Following Fol-lowing the refreshments, gifts were exchanged. Tuesday evening the Relief Society So-ciety held its Christmas party with a pot luck lunch and also exchanged gifts. Thursday evening the Primary gave a Christmas program and Friday evening Santa Claus visited vis-ited all cildren under 12 years of age and gave each a bag of nuts and candy. Christmas passed pass-ed very quietly with a dance in the church in the evening. Many out of tewn people were here for short visits with their families and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Simkins and Mrs. Rachel Gower of Cedar City and Miss Geraldine Douglas of Salt Lake City were Christmas visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis. Iron County hospital on Dec. 28 to Mr. and Mrs. Devor Pollock. Gerald and Roger Bryner of Las Vegas are visiting here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Williams. I Sunday visitors here with their mother, Mary M. Williams, were Mr. and Mrs. Rosco Williams and children Annette and Johnny of Anabella. Stanley and Bryce Williams, sons o Mr. and Mrs. Noel B. Williams, are home for the holidays. holi-days. Mr. and Mrs. Williams enjoyed en-joyed a visit from another son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fo -h Williams and children of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Lynn Williams has gone to Salt Lake City to visit with her daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Williams Wil-liams visited in Parowan with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dalton, Jr.. J. L. and Olga Piatt of Salt Lake City, visited here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lysle Piatt. Olga has returned home, accompanied b her sister Phyllis and Calda Davis for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cornelius and family visited in Hurricanr Christmas Day with their parents. Ivan Davis was a visitor in California. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis and son Paul, and Mina Piatt were visitors In Toquervllle last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Durrant of San Diego, Calif, visited here and in Cedar City with relatives. |
