Show Entries Encouraged Tor Elks' leadership Contest Boys and girls up to 19 years of age have been reminded this week of the annual Leadership contest sponsored by the BPOE Stodge No. 1556 of Cedar City, i Applications for the contest are now available and can be obtained ob-tained from any of these three men: Rex Harris. 2G1 S 450 W; Lee Empey, 9G W Harding Ave., or Tony Lambert, 187 N 1150 VV. Winners of the local contest will lve given a $50 defense bond. Two divisions are icn, one for boys and one for girls. Local winners win-ners will participate in a slate contest where prizes amounting: to $150 in cash will be given inl parh division and state winners in turn win compete on a luminal lumin-al level. 'National prizes will be given 'in amounts of $1,000 in each '.fim.sion. Constants will lie judged on he ft.asis of leadership, citizen-iihipi citizen-iihipi appreciation, persevere wo .hnfl resourcefulness, and sense riifftionor.
