Show Rams Will Entertain Buifaloes Prior to League Play With the four other basketball teams in the Millard Division of Region Six playing their first league games next Friday night, Coach Bruce Decker's Parowan hoopsters drew a bye, and will not start league play until the following week, when they travel to Milford to meet Coach Lee Pettey's Milford Tigers. But the Rams will not be idle next week, as they entertain the Valley High Buffalos on the Parowan Paro-wan floor on Wednesday night in a practice game. In division play, Milford goes to Delta to open against Coach Merlin Chris-tensen's Chris-tensen's Rabbits and the Millard Kagles, under the direction of j their new coach Russ Hillman, travel to Beaver to tangle with Coach Evan Neilson's Beavers. This week the Rams play two games, playing at Tropic on Wednesday night and playing at Cedar on Thursday, tonight. We are informed that the Parowan team barely edged out the Tropic hoopsters last night, 50 to 49 in an overtime game. |
