Show Play Cast Named By Rainbow Theater Guild Cast for the forthcoming production pro-duction of "Joan of Lorraine" at Branch Agricultural college was announced Tuesday by Prof. Twain Tippetts, director of the play. In the title role is Ann Ash-croft, Ash-croft, Cedar City senior student. Other cast members are Kent Myers, Minersville; Sharon Har-ward, Har-ward, Aurora; Jane Ma.ckelprang, Don Knight, Sheldon Prestwich, Jerry Sherratt, Norman White, all of Cedar City; Joe Bishop, Delta; Del-ta; Dayle Rust, Provo; Vern Baird and Joe Meier, Richfield; Helen Turner, Beaver; Albert Bil-lington, Bil-lington, Kanosh; Mrs. Helen Adams, Cedar City, and Frank Crowther, Fountain Green, all of B. A. C. Other roles will be played by Gustive O. Larson, director of the L. D. S. Institute; Paul Stokes, Cedar City businessman, and Prof. Tippetts as Masters, who directs the play-within-a-play. The play will be presented under un-der the auspices of the Rainbow Theater guild, during February in the BAC auditorium. The theater thea-ter guild offers an opportunity to students and townspeople alike to participate in dramatic productions of high calibre. The Broadway play, written by Maxwell Anderson, centers around a French peasant girl who believes she has been called by God to deliver France from lie tyranny of England. |
