Poultry Co-op to Pay Members Pre-Christmas Checks Members of the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative from Preston, Idaho on the north to Cedar City and St. George on the south will share in a $50,000 pre-Christmas interest payment this week, according to C. K. Ferre, auditor and assistant secretary. sec-retary. The interest payment was declared de-clared recently by the board of directors of this member owned and member-controlled organization organiza-tion which serves the poultry-men poultry-men and farmers of Utah and southern Idaho. The $50,000 is interest in-terest on certificates outstanding Jan. 1, 1951, at the rate of five per cent. Checks will be distributed to members through the 25 branch managers, according to Mr. Ferre. Directors are contemplating another an-other substantial payment, a patronage refund, which will be completed in the immediate future.
