Show ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PEDDLERS FROM DISPLAYING MERCHANDISE IN THE STREETS OF CEDAR CITY, UTAH. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah: Section 1. That all peddlers are hereby prohibited from displaying display-ing theii wares outside of their vehicles on the public streets and sidewalks of Cedar City, Utah. Section 2. That all merchants and ?ny and all other persons ate hereby prohibited from displaying dis-playing their wares upon the sidewalks or upon the public streets of Cedar City, Utah. Section 3. Violation of this Ordinance Or-dinance is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor and same shall be l unishable by a fine not in excess of $299.00 or by a jail sentence sen-tence rot in excess of six months, or both. Section 4. The elimination of the traffic hazard created by the displaying of peddlers' poods in the street being deemed an emergency, emer-gency, this Ordinance shall take effect the day of publication.
