Show Old Wooley Place Goes; To Make Room for New Home Another old landmark which has stood in Parowan for more years than most people can remember, re-member, is being torn down this week to make way for a new residence. It is the old frame building on the corner of Center and First East street known as the Vangie Wooley place, but which has been owned by Mrs. Etta Averill for a number of j years. It has been used as a notion store, a hotel, a boarding house and a rooming house and finally as a residence but has been abandoned for the past year. It is now being torn down by Howard How-ard Joseph who obtained the property from Mrs. Averill. |
