Show Nile River Film to Be Shown in Cedar City A colored motion picture film of an amazing trip down the Nile river will be shown in Cedar City on Wednesday, March 25, under the sponsorship of the Cedar Ce-dar Stake M I A, announces Ray Knell, stake MIA superintendent. superinten-dent. The picture, called "Yayaks Down the Nile", was filmed by John M. Goddard, native of Salt Lake City and a former L D S missionary, who made the 4200 mile trip down the Nile, an excursion ex-cursion that experts termed humanly hu-manly Impossible. This amazing film brings to the public not only views of the beautiful terrain ter-rain of the hitherto impenatra-ble impenatra-ble country, but brings glimpses into the lives of the natives of the area, and views of the wildlife wild-life of the jungle area. Those who have seen the film say that no one should miss an opportunity to see it. Funds raised through the presentation pre-sentation of "Kayaks Down the Nile" will go toward the Cedar Stake Chapel building fund, Mr. Knell states. Tickets will be on sale this week end, and details of the pro-, gram will be announced later. |
