Show I Rock Club Slates Trek Through Washington County The members of the Cedar City i Rock club enjoyed a most in -1 teresting program at the regular! meeting of the club last wivk. Edward Harris, a student at the Branch Agricultural college and former Navy technician, entertained enter-tained the group by showing slides of west Millard and Juab counties, and also of scenes he had taken in Hawaii while- in service. Plans for a field trip through Washington county were outlined out-lined at the meeting. The trip, which had been planned earlier but was postponed, will take place Sunday, March 15. Mem-twrs Mem-twrs will be at Anderson's Junction Junc-tion on Highway 91 at 9:30 a. m. to begin a day long trip to interesting sections of Washing ton county. Plans for the annual Rock Club exhibit, to te held during the Southern Utah Educational Fair .and Vocational Day at the Branch Agricultural college in ' April, were also discussed. Rocks land minerals from the various counties served by the Branch college will be exhibited by the club, It is understood. |
