Show Officer Elections Highlight Ladies of Elks Meet Mrs. Carl Hazel was unopposed unop-posed at the annual election of the Cedar City Ladies of Elks club which was held last Thursday Thurs-day evening and was unanimously unanimous-ly chosen to head the organization organiza-tion for the coming year. Other officers who won the approval ap-proval of the membership at the Thursday meeting were Mrs. Lee Wood, vice president; Mrs. Sam HeybDrne, treasurer; Mrs. Antone Cox, chaplain; Mrs. Jack Strate, reporter, and Mrs. Kenneth Clark, historian. Installation of officers will be held at the next meeting of the group scheduled for Thursday, April 6. The executive committee of the auxiliary group was also elected at the meeting. It includes Mrs. Douglas McMurphy, Jr., Mrs. J. V. Adams, Mrs. Theron Foster, Mrs. Bill Esplin. Mrs. Gary Macfarlane Mac-farlane and Mrs. Kenneth Carpenter. Car-penter. The meeting was under the direction di-rection of the Immediate past officers of-ficers of the group. All Ladies of Elks are encouraged encour-aged to attend the April 8 meeting meet-ing and participate in the installation instal-lation ceremonies. |
