Show 'Group Assignments Follow Beautification Meet Following-up assignments and proposed organization of groups within the city to clean-up Cedar City will be made by the beautification beau-tification committee of the Cedar City Coordinating Council follow, ing the highly successful beautification beauti-fication conference held last week end, according to Eldon Yergensen, chairman. The conference last week was highly educational and informative informa-tive to those who attended and the committee has been commended com-mended for its fine efforts. However, How-ever, progress is already being made on carrying the program still further through organization organiza-tion of citizens and groups for a gigantic clean-up of the city. Mr. Yergensen stated that Gary Macjarlane and Robert Linford, clean-up chairman and president of the Jaycees, respectively, have begun the organization of that project and they stirred up a considerable con-siderable amount of interest at the conference Attempts to organize street and even block groups to cleanup clean-up vacant lots and other sore spots are being made. Mr. Yergensen Yer-gensen suggested that if such committees could be formed throughout ihe city a tremendous service could be accomplished. |
