Show Wrestling Matches Hold Promise For Thrill Seekers Wrestling, at its very best, will he presented in Cedar City at the College of Southern Utah field-house field-house Friday, Mar. 2G at 8 p. m. The card will be sponsored by the Elks Lodge No. 155G and the C S U athletic department. Main event of the evening will present the 1953 World Champion Cham-pion Women's Tag Match team, Carol Cook and Huth Boatcallie against Carol Carota and Lilly Bitter in a best two of three falls with a one hour time limit. Tag Match wrestling, and wrestling in general, is fairly new In Cedar City and this event promes to be Well worth the price of admission. Semi-main event will feature Sugy Hayamaka, a 205 pound bully from El Paso, Tex. against ' ' t " (T ' ' . ? Ay . t J t 1 v ' I J ' SUGA HAYAMAKA ' Mel Dove, 200 pounds of Milwau- ( kee, Wis. This event will also . be the best two of three falls with a one hour time limit. Preliminary event will pit Dave . Reynolds of Orem, Utah against Treach Phillips of Columbus, Ohio in a one fall 20 minute time limit match. Dave Reynolds is the promoter of the card and he assures spectators spec-tators an outstanding evening of wrestling entertainment. Admission charges, including the fieldhouse tax, will be: ringside, ring-side, $1.60; general admission, $1.10, students 75c and children under 12 years of age, accompanied accom-panied by an adult admission will be admitted free. Residents of the city should look for the dodgers that have been distributed by the Elks lodge. Some have an Elks stamp on the back and those dodgers can be used as a free admission to the lucky holders. |
