Show Artur Rubinstein To Appear With Utah Symphony The king of contemporary pianists, Artur Rubinstein, will make his long awaited appearance appear-ance at the Salt Lake Tabernacle Taberna-cle on Tuesday, January 10, and one of the largest turnouts in the history of the Utah Symphony Sym-phony orchestra is expected, according ac-cording to David S. Romney, managing director. The master pianist will play Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsodie on a Theme by Paganini" and the "Fourth Piano Concerto" by Beethoven Bee-thoven which he played as the feature of the Goethe Festival. Neither of these works has been played in the Tabernacle. It's a grand musical treat and fans throughout the state are urged to get their tickets early. Tickets can be obtained at the Utah Symphony office, 55 West First South in Salt Lake City. In addition to performing with Mr. Rubinstein, the Utah Symphony Sym-phony also will present Beethoven's Beetho-ven's "Leonora No. 3' Overture" and Liszt's "Les Preludes". |
