Show City Construction Hits All-time High During 1949 Construction in Cedar City hit an all-time high during 1919 with the valuation amounting to $653,035, according to Warren Cox, city inspector. This is for all building construction con-struction including alterations, additions and repairs. In addition, $1,335.13 was collected col-lected by the City on permits for the above work. There were 259 building and alteration permits, 235 electrical wiring permits, 183 alterations, additions and repairs, 101 plumbing, plumb-ing, 76 new dwelling units, and 5 electrician examination permits. per-mits. The new elementary school building was issued a permit, but no fee was attached to it. The total valuation of the construction con-struction does not include work being done at the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural college. |
