Show ICAIIARRA Bishop and Mrs. Elton Stout and family spent a few days visiting vis-iting in California during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Sherald Peterson cf Davis Dam, Nevada,, were here to attend the funeral services of Nelpher Graff Friday. Word has been received here of the death in Alhambra, California Cali-fornia of Alma Roundy, better known to local people as "Toot" Roundy. He died while in California Cali-fornia visiting with his children. His body will be returned to Kan-arra Kan-arra for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Davis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams Wil-liams and family, Mrs. Roma Wood and daughters, and Hettie I'ollock, visited in Las Vegas dur-ing dur-ing the past week. Mrs. Mina Flatt, Verna Davis. Jennie Williams, Thelma Lovell and Alenna Berry attended the funeral services for Ephraim Webb in Hurricane Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Ether Wood, and Alenna Berry attended a wedding wed-ding reception in Toquerville December 30th honoring Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bringhurst. Mrs. Bring-hurst Bring-hurst is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Esplin of the Kan-arra Kan-arra ward. Mr. and Mrs. Williard Williams and family spent New Years in Washington with relatives. A son was born at the Iron County hospital to Mr. and Mrs. J. Anderton. Mrs. Rosena Blake and son Acil and children of St. George visited with Mrs. Blake's daughter daugh-ter and familv. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davis, during the week. They were accompanied by an aunt, Mrs. Perkins of Mesquite, Nevada. Visiting an evening this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Aus-tin Ence were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ence, Mr. and Mrs. King Stevenson, Steven-son, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Houchen of Cedar City. Joy Pollock has gone to Spanish Span-ish Fork on business. Mrs. Neta Wlllia-ns of Han-derson, Han-derson, Nevada, war, here for the New Year. |
