Show En Avante Club Holds Annual Tea The climaxing event of the season for the EnAvante Club was held last evening at the LOS Institute, when the members and guests gathered ga-thered for the annual club tea. The affair was arranged by Zola Dover, Llllls Larson. Irene Wasden. Frances Barlow Esther Jones and lone Rradshaw. The evening's program was under the direction of Wm H. Manning, and consisted of several very entertaining enter-taining musical numbers as follows: "Cara Nome." Province song by Luana Riddle; "Romance, Spring Is In My Heart Again", by Romalne Hanzon; "Matlnatta. Until", by Wallace Odams; "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked" and "Open Thy Blue Eyes", by Mrs. Emma Warren; "Evening Star, Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child," Eldred Foster; "Homing, The Stars Looked Down," Ruth Corry; Duet, "La Boheme", Mr. Adams and Mr. Foster; "Joy, Mimi's Waltz Song" Cleone Wilcken. Evelyn K. Jones and Eula L. James, were the ac-compaists. ac-compaists. The event was attended by approximately ap-proximately seventy-five ladies, Including In-cluding the members of the En Avante club and guests. Following the musical presentation light refreshments re-freshments were served. |
