Show Miles Announces Plans for Opening Of Junior Hi School The Cedar City Junior High School will oen Its doors Tuesday morning, September 2 at 9 o'clock for regular school work. Students will be assigned to their home rooms and directions given regarding their dally schedule. The required course In each grade, according to Principal L. C. Miles, will include mathematics. English and literature, social science or history, and physical education, wltrti choices allowed In the following follow-ing fields: General science, art. music, cither vocal or instrumental, home making. Industrial arts, agriculture, agri-culture, photography, SpanLsli, dramatic art. Journalism S.eminary and penmanship. Special activities this year. Mr. Miles state, will include student i council, assemblies, radio programs, school play, operetta, field trips, visits to local industries, visual education, ed-ucation, dancing and special parties, par-ties, such as the annual Hallow-e'en Hallow-e'en spook show, snow carnival and other seasonal functions. All students will be charged a student body fee of $2 50 with the ninth grade students paying an ex-tra ex-tra $350 for rental of books, with $1 to be returned when the books are checked In at the close of the year.
