NEWLY-WEDS HONORED SATURDAY EVENING Mr. and Mrs. Dick Thorley of Lunning, Nevada, who were visitors visi-tors in Cedar City over the week end, were honored Saturday evening eve-ning at a party given by Mr. Thor-ley's Thor-ley's mother, Mrs. Stewart Thorley. Approximately twenty close friends of the young couple spent the evening eve-ning playing Chinese checkers and other games after which light refreshments re-freshments were served. A beautiful wedding cake decorated in white and pink and topped by a miniature minia-ture bride and groom formed the centerpiece of the serving table, with Sweet Williams and snapdragons snap-dragons being used in the other decorations. Mr. and Mrs, Thorley, who were married In Las Vegas, Nevada on June 12, spent a short honeymoon In Long Beach, California and upon their return to Lunning were honored hon-ored by their Nevada friends at a miscellaneous shower. The young couple left Cedar City Sunday afternoon to return to their home in Nevada. s
