Show Draftees to Appear In Radio Programs Draftees called to the army through the selective service have been brought a step closer to their different communities, according to Lieutenant Herbert Adamson, morale mor-ale officer of the Headquarters Reception Re-ception Center at Fort Douglas, Utah. This Is being done in the form of two radio broadcasts over station sta-tion KDYL, one from 6:30 to 7:00 p. m. on Monday evenings, and the other from 5:45 to 6:00 p. m. on Wednesday evenings. The microphone is located in the theatre building at the fort where all of the new men who are there for processing before being assigned to their units, are in attendance. Emerson Smith is In charge of the broadcast, and the boys to be interviewed inter-viewed are selected by Lieutenant Adamson. Although the program is still in its infancy, the number of letters received from radio listeners would indicate the program is very interesting. inter-esting. Our readers are urged to tune in to the broadcasts and to have their boys contact Lieutenant Adamson who promises to put them on the air If possible. |
