Show tertained with a dinner party at her home Sunday in honor of her daughter, who was observing her birthday anniversary. Gladioli centered cen-tered the table, where covers were placed or Miss Hancock, Miss Terry Delia Bartlett, Dorothy Hansen, Han-sen, Hyrum Hansen of College; Veda and Hazel Sorensen, Hilda Anderson, Wanda Hill, Mrs. Emma Em-ma Hancock and Mr. and Mrs Hancock. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hancock motored to Salt Lake Citq taking their daughter dau-ghter and Miss Terry home and returning Monday. Farm Bureau entertained at a party for Mrs Dora Whitney, on Thursday at the home of Mrs. Delone Larsen. Afternoon was spent in needlework and bridge Dinner was served to Mesdames Dora Whitney, Pearl Bird, Rhoda Muir, Lev Thornton, Ivaue Smith Verna Hancock, Hilda Whitney, Alice Stauffer, Viola Larsen Geneva Gen-eva Whitney, Maxine Stauffer, De- j lone Larsen. A birthday party was given by Mrs. Kany Bartlett in honor of her daughter Delia on Monday at the heme cf Mrs. Emma Hancock. Dinni . was served at . one long table, centered with a large birthday birth-day cie. Bowls of sweet peas adorned ad-orned each end. Hanry Bradbury and dau- ghter Jaan of Logan spent tne week as guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Archie Morris. Mr. and Mis. L. K. Wood and daughter Virginia, Mr .and Mrs. Edgar Hancock and daughter Ma-dall Ma-dall were guests at the dinner given by Mrs. Wood's sister, Mrs Crva' Jra-.ner at Salt Lake City on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Larsen spent the week end in Ogden as guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Larsen. Miss Mary Lamont spent the past week in Carkston guest of Mss Larene Dahle. Mrs. Wm. L. Kidman is touring tour-ing the northwest in company with her brother Dr. D. C. Budge Miss June Stauffer and Miss Helen Walker of the Budge hospital hos-pital spent Sunday afternoon with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stauffer, Mr. and Mrs. Vance D. Walker. Miss Edna Bird entertained the Happy Hour club on Thursday. Social chat and sewing formed the entertainment. Luncheon was served to Mesdames Lois Buist, ' Delpha Longstroth, Lorraine Muir, Joice Hiibner, Susie Perkins. ' The Trail Builders with their 1 teacher Mrs. Eya Smith held their 1 meeting Monday night at the ' home of Leo Ross Ladle. Lesson E and story was given by Mrs. ' Smith. Refreshments were served to 8. 1 MENDON 0- 0 MENDON The Primary held their home coming and 60th birthday birth-day anniversary of the organization organiza-tion of the Primary, Monday evening in the recreation hall Pres. Annie Hughes was in charge and gave the speech of welcome. A large cake was in the center of the hall and officers and children child-ren marched around and dropped their dimes in the container that held the cake. The program consisted con-sisted of songs and dances given by the different classes. The folk dances were in pretty costumes Organs t Julia Muir accompanied all the singing and dances and the solo by Mary Lou Thornton. Ross Bartlett sang two solos. Mrs. Marvel Bartlett accompanied him at the piano. Prayers were by Joseph N. Sorensen and Vaughan Bird. Children's summer work was displayed and refreshments were sold and a nut cake giyen away to Ross Bartlett. Mrs. H. C. Stauffer entertained the Bridge club on Friday night. Roses formed the centerpiece for the tabes. After dinner the remainder re-mainder of the evening was spent in playing bridge. High score was won by Mrs. Delpha Longstroth and Mrs. lvalue Smith. High cut by Mrs. Isabella Kidman. Miss Faye Hancock and Miss Marie Terry who are students at a business school in Salt Lake spent the week end with Miss Hancock's parents, Mr. and Mrs E. J. Hancock.
