Show Fire in Forest Shortly after noon Thursday a small forest fire started on th summit of the high ridge between Logan and Dry canyons. Within the next few minutes, the Forest Service received some twenty calls from local residents. Honor fo I submitting the-first report should go to Robert Crookston. Less than five mnutes after the first oall was received, a dozen men trained in fire control measures had started start-ed to converge on the fire from three directions. Forest Guard, Gurr came down at 7:30 Friday evening and reported the fire out. He reported that lightning started the blaze and that the activities of all involved prevented its spread to nearby timber.
