Show ; ;; Obituaries j Margaret Hunter Bowen Mrs. Margaret Hunter Bowen, 65, died at her home . 163 East 1st North, Friday night. She was born -Dec. 3, 1873, in Paisley, Scotland, a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Griffin Hunter, and came to this country with her parents the following year. She was a resident of Salt Lake City until 1912,' when she was married to Louis J. Bowen in the Salt Lake temple. They moved mov-ed to Samaria, Idaho, and later to Logan. She. . was active in Mutual Improvement association, . Relief society and Sunday school organizations. organi-zations. In 1933 she and Mr. Bowen Bow-en filled a temple mission. She was also a member of the Salt Lake tabernacle and Logan Fourth ward choirs. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Beth Bowen Lar-eon Lar-eon of Morgan; a grandchild and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. D. W. Salmon and Thomas Hunter of Kemmerer, Wyo.; Robert Rob-ert Hunter of Logan; MrsWilliam B. Spencer, Mrs. Mary Lambert, Gwen Hunter and Afton Hunter of Salt Lake City and Clark Hunter Hunt-er of Chicago, 111. D.C., and will be buried today in Arlington cemetery beside her husband,, according ac-cording to word reaching Logan. Liona Merrill Sadler Mrs. Liona Merrill Sadler, 20, wife of Harold R. Sadler of Logan Lo-gan and sister of Professor Mil- j ton R. Merrill of the U.S.A.C., v died at a local hospital Sunday following a major operation. I She was bom July 21, 1918, in North Logan, a daughter of Lorin and Laura Reee Merrill. She was married to Mr. .Sadler July 28, 1937. She was a former student of U.S.A.C. and an active church member. Surviving are her husband, her mother and the following brothers and sisters: Milton R. Merrill and Mrs. Laura M. Bailey of Logan: Asa J. and Dean H. Merrill of Washington, D.C.; Harold Merrill of Chehalis, Wash., and Lorin C. Merrill of Chicago, 111.
