Brooke and Phoebe Wiseman have their baby home now after a few weeks in Utah Valley Val-ley Hospital in Provo. The Thompsons also received word of another grandson born to their daughter Rachael and Garrett Briet of Las Vegas, Nev. Doyle and Kathryn Nielson have their grandchildren Jay and Andrea from up north for a few weeks. Lula Moore and Doyle and Kathryn Nielson, along with other from Henrieville, attended funeral services for Jim Smith on Saturday and the graveside services for Spurs Griffin on Monday. Sandy and Gary Johnson went to the LDS temple and enjoyed doing do-ing family names for their anniversary. anniver-sary. On the way home, they hiked at Zion National Park by moonlight. moon-light. Some of their children joined them for a surprise visit on Father's day. Sandy also went to Salt Lake City to help with grandson Braxton while daughter Becca attends classes for her employment. She is a probation pro-bation officer for Beaver county. Esther and Sandy went to Cedar City for dental appointments and met Becca, Braxton and Sarah and did some shopping. Jeff and Kim Johnson and son Clayton and wife Heather Johnson and daughter Cailee Johnson all took grandson Tell Johnson to the zoo up north. Son Cyle went along, too. Hannah Elizabeth Piatt was given a name and blessing by her grandfather Ken Piatt. She is the baby of the Heath Platts. Kenyon and Emily Piatt and baby and Jamie and Chad Reeder and baby of Logan came for the event. Speakers in LDS Sacrament meeting on Sunday were Matt Edwards Ed-wards of Escalante and Jeff Bushnell of St. George. Jeff is a nephew of Iris Bushnell's. Keela Mangum came to hear him talk and join in the family visit. Visiting Karin Barker's family was her niece Christine and husband Luke Call and family of Boise, Ida. Here for Jim Smith's funeral services and staying with mom Rae Smith were Dot and Don Burkhardt of Peoria, Ariz.; Cory Smart of Jacksonville, Ark.; and Dale Curk-hardt Curk-hardt and Layne Alvarez and baby girl of Glcndale, Ariz. Also at Rae's were Barbara and George Paris of Parowan, Brett and Tiffany Reynolds and Quinntin Reynolds. Logann and Max Eagar were in Provo and Springville to visit his mother for her birthday and his sister sis-ter Doris Peterson and family. Tiffany Tif-fany celebrated her birthday on Monday with Jason and Tyler, Trish Dixon, and Dani and Nicole DiSera. Dave and Stephanie Roberts and sons Colton, Hayden and Shayde went to Logan for the blessing of the son of Ryan and Kena Toone, Dave's sister. They also went to Richfield on Friday and did some shopping. Visiting Ernie and Wynona Henderson for several days was their daughter Lynne Granger. ' |
