Show EMTs Answer Five Assistance Calls Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians responded to five calls for assistance during the past week according to operations officer Bob McCullough. On the morning of July 4, Colton Andrew Crofts was transported trans-ported by Life Flight to a Salt Lake City hospital. He was transported in the Bryce Mountain ambulance from Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch to Bryce Canyon Airport by EMT Alfred Foster and the Life Flight Crew. On July 8 at 2:57 p.m., Suzanne Rothburg and Elwald Adams, both of Dusseldorf, West Germany, were transported to Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch from the scene of a one-car rollover seven miles north of Hatch on U.S. 89. Responding with the Hatch ambulance ambu-lance were EMTs Jeanette Young, Virginia Giles and Dorothy Barney. Responding with the Panguitch ambulance were EMTs Jean Julan- dcr, Bob Smith and Bob McCullough. McCul-lough. Assisting at the scene were law enforcement officers and county employees and a passing nurse. Later the same day, Suzanne Rothburg was transferred from Garfield Memorial Hospital in the Bryce Mountain ambulance by -EMT Alfred Foster. and the Life , Flight crew to Bryce Canyon Airport Air-port for a Life Flight transport to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. On July 11 at 2 p.m., Walter Lutes of Cannonville was transported trans-ported from Garfield Memorial Hospital in the Bryce Mountain ambulance by EMT Alfred Foster and the Life Flight crew to Bryce Canyon Airport for transport by Life Flight to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. On July 12 at noon, Carol Burrows Bur-rows of Hatch was transported to Garfield Memorial Hospital by May Sawyer and Dorothy Barney. |
