BCNP Retirees Roasted At Ruby's Inn Farewell BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK Employees from Bryce Canyon National Park hosted a retirement re-tirement dinner at Ruby's Inn for Doyle Clark and Joe Hughes, both Cannonville. They received many accolades and the trip down memory lane was great, especially for newcomers to the park. Both men, with their wives, sat at the head of the table so the guests could roast them yet still stay out of their reach. BCNP Superintendent Robert W. Reynolds presented a large wooden arrowhead to each honoree. These mementos were designed, handcrafted and signed by fellow BCNP employees. Susan McGill, chief of maintenance mainte-nance at the park, awarded both retirees re-tirees a plaque and a letter of appreciation appre-ciation for their years of service. The retirement plaques were beautifully beauti-fully done and greatly appreciated by both Clark, who retired with 27 years under his belt, and Hughes, who had accumulated 31 years of service. |
