Show lajpi mwm mi By Marta Peterson Black George honored Bryce Canyon National Park with a slide show of his five years in Saudi Arabia where he had worked as a geologist for the royal family. He is now on his way to Big Bend National Na-tional Park in Texas to volunteer as a river runner. Lem Pratt and Jim Quitter are attending the Emergency Medical Technician course currently being presented at Ruby's Inn. Nancy Twitchell spent a week in Denver attending a comprehensive employee benefits training course. The Maintenance Division hosted a hamburger fry to welcome back and to say "hi" to all the returning re-turning and new seasonal maintenance mainte-nance staff. The employees contributed con-tributed salads and desserts to round out the luncheon fare. Charlie Peterson is in Denver for a Fire BehaviorComputer class. Roger Parsons is also in Denver giving a helping hand to the Rocky Mountain Regional Office. Scott Reynolds, son of Bob and Barbara Reynolds, was able to complete his high school education ahead of schedule and fulfill his dream of becoming a military man when he joined the Air Force. He reports to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio March 27 for Basic training. Scott's parents are i treating him to a special graduationbirthday gradua-tionbirthday trip to Disneyland just j prior to enlistment. The entire j family including Scott's sister, Kristy, a college student in California, Califor-nia, will be enjoying the trip with him. Bob and Barbara will then drive Scott to Salt Lake City where he officially begins his military career. |
