Show By Mayall Sawyer Ted Kaplan, Knoxville, Tenn., and Ken Mack, Fullerton, Calif, spent a couple of weeks doing finish fin-ish work on Ken's hunting cabin. Ben and Chet Vawter and Mina Nu made a surprise visit, and spend the night. Cassie Mack took them out to Bryce Canyon. Other visitors at the Macks were the Dallis Barn-hursts, Barn-hursts, Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Bamhurst . are home from a two-week trip to Wisconsin, where they attended a niece's wedding and also visited friends and relatives. Marie Barn-hurst Barn-hurst went to Las Vegas for a few days on business. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred went to St George, where Beth underwent un-derwent surgery. She is home now recuperating. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Sawyer, Ogden, are here at their trailer for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Savage, St. George, visited Mr. and Mrs. Nile . Sawyer over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Heap, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Heap, Cedar City, visited Garth Heap. They moved the cattle over the mountain and back to the pasture. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder went to Cedar City last week for doctor appointments. Visiting the Lowders during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Schootz, Washington, Wash-ington, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Crofts, Orderville, Velta Sawyer, Cedar City, and friend Seth Lott of Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Burrows. Out of town family members at the funeral for Effel Riggs were: Mr. and Mrs. Forest Hill, Gunnison; Gunni-son; Thalia Mickleson, Nephi; Thora Porter, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Burrows; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Burrows from up north; Mr. and Mrs. Horrace Burrows, Bur-rows, Orderville; Omega Campbell, Camp-bell, Sl George; Ray Burrows, Ogden; Og-den; and Mrs. and Mrs. Kay Alexander, Salt Lake City. ,, Visiting Estella. Riggs were:, Mr. and Mrs. John Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Riggs, St. George; Ralph Riggs, Frcdonia, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Devard Riggs, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. and Mrs. Less Foote, Salt Lake City. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs were: the Karl Saxon family, fam-ily, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. William Riggs, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Don Ross, Enoch; Mr. and Mrs. Alan Riggs, Colorado; and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craw, Min-ersville. Rhona Webb flew in from Washington for her grandmother's funeral Other family members attending at-tending were: the Gary Fagg family, fam-ily, Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rus-sell Wilson, Delta, Konnie, Flo-rene Flo-rene and LaRue Holt. Evelyn Heap Whatcott and Virginia Bauer, Cedar City, visited friends and relatives. Visiting Julia Turek and Ada Nordell on Saturdy was Florence Heaton of Alton. Diana Porter, Orem visited family fam-ily and friends on Saturday. Garth Workman, Cedar City, also visited here on Saturday. |
