NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH GARFIELD COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on Sept. 19, 1988, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Ut., adopted a Resolution declaring that the public health, convenience and necessity require the establishment of a Special Spe-cial Service District, to be called "Garfield County Special Service District No. 1" (the BDistrict"), for the purpose of constructing, repairing repair-ing and maintaining roads within the boundaries of the District. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED DISTRICT The District shall have the following fol-lowing boundaries: All of Garfield County excepting incorporated areas ar-eas of cities and towns; and excepting except-ing those areas included within the Ticaboo and Alvey Wash Special Service Districts. PROPOSED SERVICES The District will be authorized to construct, repair, and maintain roads, to be located within the District, Dis-trict, together with acquisition of necessary facilities, appurtenances and equipment therefore. METHOD OF FINANCING Pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Special Service District Act, Chapter 23. Tide 11, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended, and Article XIV. Section 8 of the Constitution of Utah, the District may annually impose fees and charges to pay for all or a part of the services to be provided oy the District. HENRIEVILLE TOWN COUNCIL The public is invited to participate partici-pate with the Henrieville town council in an open meeting on Oct, 12 at 7:30 p.m. where the U.S. Soil Conservation's (RC&D council) participation in the proposed Henrieville Town culinary water system renovation project will be explained and comments received. Tienrieville Town is asking U.S. Soil Conservation Service for a matching grant to provide flood protection and erosion control for the spring area and pipelines serving the town. Following the Soil Conservation Conserva-tion presentation questions will be answered and comments received on any other aspect of the proposed project and the involved agencies including U.S. Farmers Home Administration, Ad-ministration, Utah State Board of Water Resources and Utah State Community Impact Fund.
