Show i V Hazel P. Sevy Hazel Pollock Sevy, 85, died Sept. 29, 1988, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1903, Escalante, to Daniel Allen and Mary Ann Lay Pollock, She was married to Richard Earl Sevy, May 21, 1923, Panguitch; later solemnized solem-nized in the St. George LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He died Jan. 20, 1983. She was a licensed practical nurse and had been employed by Panguitch Hospital until her retirement re-tirement in 1966. She was a charter member of Camp Louhova DUP. She was active ac-tive in the LDS Church and had been a temple worker and teacher and officer in all auxiliary organizations. Survivors: sons, daughter, Laine Earl, Stockton, Calif.; Lyman, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Douglas (Ardis) Larson, Vernon; 14 grandchildren; grand-children; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, sister, Boyd, Mrs. Amy Odcgard, both St. George. Funeral services were Tuesday in the Panguitch First LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Joseph Black officiating. Laine E. Sevy offered the family prayer; Pam Yardley played prelude and postlude music and Judy Oldroyd offered the invocation. invo-cation. Sue Erickson gave a tribute and speaker was Pres. John Yardley. Remarks were by Bishop Black. Music included selection by the Panguitch Tri-Ward Choir and vocal vo-cal quartet composed of Pat Nolan, MARYSVALE Amelia Mary "Molly" Blatnick Sylvester, 75, died Sept. 19, 1988, in Salt Lake City. She was born Sept. 23, 1913, Murray, to Peter and Amelia Blatnick. Blat-nick. She married Jay George Sylvester, Oct. 18, 1932, Junction; he died Feb. 12, 1974. She was a member of the Marysvale Lady Lions Club and the Marysvale Firemens Auxiliary. She attended Jordan High School and had resided in Bingham, Murray, Elsinore and Marysvale. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors: sons, daughters, Richard, Marysvale; Rulon, Mrs. George (Margery) Simon, both . West Valley City; Mrs. Milton (Linda) Quinn, Bennion; 1 1 grandchildren; grand-children; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, brother, Mrs. Robert (Clara) Ausick, Mrs. Suzie Erlen-bach, Erlen-bach, both Midvale; Albeit, Los Gatos, Calif. Funeral services were Saturday in the Marysvale LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Douglas W. Allan, - officiating. Craig Sylvester offered the family prayer; Jody Johnson played prelude and postlude music and Paul Swalberg gave the invocation. Speaker was William L. Black-well Black-well and a tribute by Wayne James, with remarks by Bishop Allan. Music included vocal solo by Lisa Grunig and two vocal duet selections se-lections by Charlene Dalton and Tcrecea Westwood. Robert Sylvester offered the benediction. Nettie Dowdell Funeral services for Nettie Arvilla McEwen Dowdell were held Friday in the Panguitch Second LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Robert V. Judd, presiding and Elder Michael Tebbs, conducting. Karl D. McAllister offered the family prayer; Irene H. McEwen and Barbara Orton played prelude and postlude music and Roger Condie offered the invocation.
