"Ballots have been mailed to all those producers who registered with the Utah Department of Agriculture. They will vote in the producer referendum which will either set the fee at $1 or keep it at 25c," explained Commissioner Ferry. The ballots must be postmarked by May 24. A stamped, self- addressed envelope is enclosed with the ballot with the hope that it will increase the number of returns.
