Show Kay Heywoods Will Be Honored on 50th Date The children of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Heywood will honor their parents with an open house to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 15 at the Panguitch Middle School, 202 East Center, from 7 until 9 p.m. with a special program planned for 8 p.m. Mark Key Heywood and Neilene Clove were married May 29, 1935 In the St. George LDS Temple. Both are Panguitch natives. They lived in Calif oria, Cedar City and Richfield, returning 27 years ago to Panguitch. Mr. Heywood served on the board of trustees of the Garfield County School District and as mayor of Panguitch for 10 years. Both are active members of the LDS Church, serving in a variety of positions over the years. They filled a mission to the Oregon Portland Mission for the LDS Church, returning two years ago. Now retired, they enjoy gardening and visiting their children and grandchildren. They have 16 grandchildren. |
