Show Panguitch Drama Students Set Comedy Play on Monday A three-act comedy,"Rest Assured" by Donald Payton, will be performed at the Panguitch High School gym on Monday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. Drama director Debbie Pollock said, "the play is the story of the Morlock family headed by Philip Ulysses, a fidgety, nervous, grouchy old goat who doesn't like anything but money. "He constantly gripes and complains and won't allow his family to do anything. He adamantly refuses to let his 20-year-old daughter marry Joe Lanconi because his papa is poor. Joe's father Luigi comes to plead Joe's case and the two old fellows begin a feud that puts the Hatfleld-McCoy fracas to shame., InJhe .process of the feud," Pollock said, "Luigi dies but gets permission to come back as a ghost and haunts Mr. Murlock until he gives permission for the wedding. In the meantime, Mr. Morlock dies and he is also a ghost. Lucifer comes to get him but Mr. Murlock refuses to go." Pollock promises the evening will be full of fun and laughter and she urges people of all ages to attend. The cast includes Jody Allred (Philip Ulysses Morlock), Cauleen Goulding (Hazel Morlock), Susan Townzen (Mary Morlock), Roshell Proctor (Jessica Morlock), Michelle Frandsen (Mildred the Maid), Steve Burton (Luigi Lanconi), Nathan Brinkerhoff (Joe Lanconi), Ann Middleton (Martha Lanconi), Earl Jolley (George Plew), Lynea Matthews, (Miss, Akers), Mark Heaton (Lucifer), LaFaun Bar-nhurst (Mrs. Schmaltz), Kevin Hepworth (Mrs. Frink), and Travis Fagg (Jake). Assistant directors are Cheri Nielson and Stephanie Roper. Jodi Julander is in charge of publicity. Jeff Burton and Ken Dice are in charge of sets and props and makeup is handled by Robin Holt and Tammy Moore.
