Show - Panouitch Palter - Judy Henrie Wynona Sevy and Beverly Crosby were joined by their sisters, Thais Griffin, Escalante and Ardlth Davis, Orem for a trip to California for a week. They visited Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm and hit every shopping mall in sight. They plan to make these sister trips an annual event. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Milton Young were their son and his wife,. . Mr. and Mrs. David Young, West Jordan. The David Youngs had their infant daughter blessed and given the name of Esther Barbara by her father in sacrament meeting in the Second Ward. Visiting in town over the weekend were the Jerald Camerons, Las Vegas. Jamie Veater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Veater, graduated from Primary and was ordained to the office of a deacon in the LDS Priesthood. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brienholt and family were in Richfield to attend the funeral of his father who passed away suddenly. Erna Riggs is home after spending the winter with her children up north. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hatch were home. Carl is having radiation treatment at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Miller visited with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hammond, in Washington, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tebbs are in Cedar City staying with the children of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tebbs. Richard had surgery in Cedar City then had to go to Salt Lake City for-more tests. Frank Daly, Gam Owens, Harold Sevy, Julie Konold and Tyler Jolley are patients in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jolley, Tropic; Tad Jolley and fiancee Jo Ann Peterson visited Tyler in the hospital and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jolley. Tyler was operated on Friday for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Morgan, Circleville visited with the M.V. Foy, Brian Foy and Stan Foy families. They were here to attend the naming and blessing of Brian Martin Foy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Foy in the Third Ward sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hooper and family have moved to Kanab where Melvin is employed with Kaibab Industries. Brandt Stubbs, Parowan and Cheri Dodds, Cedar City appeared on the "Eugene Jelesnik" Talent Showcase in a Clogging Routine. Cherie, the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dodds is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maloy Dodds and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Barney. Brandt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Stubbs and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton, Hatch. Elizabeth Foy is home after visiting with her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Will Robinson in Las Vegas and with her daughter Mary Susan Foy in West Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Farn-sworth are now home after spending the winter in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Farnsworth went down and helped move them home. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Farnsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington visited in California recently. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barney and Mary Perkins were in Salt Lake City where the baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Barney was named Amanda and blessed by her father Curtis. Also attending were. Mr. and Mrs. Finn Higgs. Mrs. Higgs is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Houston were in Hemet, Calif, recently where they attended the Ramona Pageant and were guests of Evelyn Bohmfalk who many will remember as a former owner of the Rustic Lodge at Panguitch Lake. Hazel Houston attended the St. George Temple where the grandson, Stacl Bettridge, of her sister Dorothy (Mrs. Honald) Rowley was being married. Abo attending the wedding and the reception In Cedar City afterwards were Mr. and Mrs. Alan Worthen, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Worthen, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Worthen. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins have been in Salt Lake City where Michelle kept a doctor's appointment and had tests done. Mr. and Mrs. George Middleton visited with their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Anderson in Loa., Kerry was sustained to the bishopric of the Loa Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Miles Barney visited with their daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dalton in Richfield. Connie has just been hired as secretary at the Sevier Valley Technical College. |
