Show - Tropic Topics - Ella Adair Verlyn Munson, Marian Shakespear, Margaret Mecham, Rachael Ahlstrom and LaRene Munson left Monday for a 10-day trip to Hawaii. They will join a Brigham Young University study group In Salt Lake City to make the trip. Jeannene Pollock and Mary Lee Ramsay visited with Brenda Shakespear in Page, Ariz.; they also visited with Mary Lee's mother In Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair were in Bullfrog, to attend the celebration and christening of the John Atlantic Burr ferry on May 4. Wendy Brinkerhoff was in' Richfield on business. Claudia Niemann made a trip to Richfield to bring her mother, Margie Bee, home. A missionary testimonial for Dallen Baugh was held in sacrament meeting Sunday. Speakers were Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore, Ruth Baugh and Justin Baugh and Dallen. A special musical number was sung by Ruth Baugh and Ranae Porter and the girls in Dallen's class. The Sherman Baughs had all of their children home, except LaVell for the missionary farewell. Mr. and Mrs. Blake Robinson, RaNae Porter, Rhoda Allen and Blake D. Robinson were visitors at the Mateland Baugh home Sunday. Paul Mangum made a trip to Grand Canyon to get his trail rides set up. The Gene Chynoweths enjoyed a visit from Marie Chynoweth. A missionary dinner was held Wednesday evening In the church for Dallen Baugh. The Kent Wintches had son Rett home for the weekend. Hope Wintch Is with her daughter Hanna Goulding in Cedar City. Dennis Wintch visited with the Dean Wintchs. The Larvin Pollocks enjoyed a week's visit from daughter Marian. She returned home to Orem with husband Blake. Ora Brinkerhoff had daughter Rose spend a few days with her. Bruce Syrett, Charles Henrie and Carl Baugh qualified to represent our high school in the state track meet this week in Provo. |
