Show Cannonville Dorothy Leavitt Mr., and Mrs. Clele Fletcher traveled to Provo for the funeral of Clele's cousin, Lewis Earl Whitney of Sunnyvale, Calif. Melda Davis is home after spending a week with her daughter and family, the Carl Burrows, in Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson were in Enterprise for the testimonial of their cousin. They also traveled to Salt Lake City on business: Elaine Shakespeare, Panguitch was here visiting her parents, the Lark Reynolds. Ada Thompson and her sister Janet LeFevre attended the funeral services of their niece Michelle Wing in Spanish Fork on Tuesday. Hank Moss won a silver buckle for first place in bull riding at Kayenta, Ariz, in the Charley Championship Rodeo school held on April 26-28. Arjean Twitchell celebrated her birthday, Thursday May 2. Joe Thompson made a business trip to Salt Lake City. The Relief Society stake leadership meeting was held Thursday at the Escalante Stake Center in Escalante, most officers and teachers from the Cannonville ward were able to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Dutton, Ephraim were here doing some yard work around their home. Budd Dutton, Ephraim was here visiting relatives. Violet Rae Hughes is the new Bryce Valley Lady Lions president. Elections were held Thursday night at the scout house in Tropic. Pauline Fletcher is home for the weekend from Dixie College in St. George. She is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Alma Fletcher. |
