Show Hatch Happenings Velma Huntington 735-4231 In testimonial meeting Diane Barnhurst was released as president of the Young Womens Mutual Improvement Association and released as counselors were Marian Nelson and Janette Sawyer. Diane Barnhurst was sustained as the Gospel Doctrine leader. Marian Nelson was sustained as president of the Y.W.M.I.A. with Janette Sawyer as her counselor. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hutchison visited In Cedar City during the week. Loran Barnhurst was also a member from here at the art show in Panguitch. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Karl Loader and Verdi Sawyer were Velta Sawyer and Verene Anderson, Kanab. Karl Lowder spent several days in Minersville to the Larry Baileys. He accompanied Larry to Salt Lake City. Also visiting the Lowders were Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Crofts, Orderville. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Workman, Cedar City visited in town with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fagg and Effel Riggs visited in Cedar City where Gary attended a father and daughters program at Southern Utah State College with daugher Trudii Fagg. Visiting Lilith Wilson were the Klar Wilsons and the Richard Wilsons, St. George; the Kent Wilsons, Parowan and the Russell Wilsons, Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton went to Parowan during the week where they accompanied Pamela Stubbs, members of her clogging group and several of their parents to Auburn, Calif, to visit the Pete Chllders. The doggers performed at an entertainment in Auburn. The Darcl Allreds, Washington City spent the weekend visiting Velma Huntingotn and Jody Allred Sunday visitors with them were the Fred Houstons, Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Wilson visited in Cedar City during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Barnhurst, Lenore Pendolph and Krlsty Mendenhall, West Jordan visited relatives In town. The Ward Lees, Washington City yisited .with theJHomer Duttons. May Sawyer visited in Cedar City with her family there. Leland Riggs went to Las Vegas over the weekend to bring Adell home after her visit with Mr. and Mrs. Karri Saxon. Karri was recuperating at home following a stay in the hospital following a heart attack. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans received word their grandson Todd, son of the Mike Evans, Ariz, is in the hospital with pneumonia. |
