Show Boulder Hews Lenora LeFevre 355-2140 Donna Jean Wilson has been in Salt Lake City shopping and later in the week her mother, Uvada Moosman accompanied her to Richfield. Lenora LeFevre visited with Lorea Hall and Kathleen Hamm at Teasdale. She accompanied Kathleen to Provo where Lorea and Kathleen spent a week at the BYU and I stayed a week with my aunt Frances Leach and came home with my brother, Dr. Heber Hall of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Forest Donaldson and daughter of Dayton, Ohio spent a few days visiting with LeFair Hall. Army buddies LeFair and Forest were in the Phillipines together In 1945. Truman and Ivan Lyman and the Coombs family received word that their elderly aunt Ladna Snow Parker of Joseph passed way on August 24. Bishop Vard Coombs and Truman Lyman attended the services. Farlan and Lorraine Behunin, Truman Lyman, Lucy Crooks, Florene Preston attended the wedding reception of Robert A. and Diane Ridley Glad at the Sandy Twenty-first Ward on August 28. On August 15, Truman and Leona Lyman accompanied Cleo Reed and Robin Lyman to Henri evllle where Truman gave his grandson a blessing and the name of Austin Reed Lyman. Soon after this Truman took Leona to the St. Marks Hospital where she had surgery. All of Leona's people came from Idaho to see her. August 27 Truman and son Noel took her to Edith Issaclson's home where she will stay until she Is able to come home. Ernest Brunger and wife accompanied by his daughter and husband came to see Truman. He was the coach when Truman was in school at Mt Pleasant some years ago. Elise Ott of Tropic came to help Nina Moosman quilt. Her husband Norm Ott is working with the Strong Construction Company on the east end road. Garkane Power Company has two crews working on a cement and earth dam at the west fork of the Boulder Creek to replace the earth dam thai was washed away about two years ago. Lincoln Lyman and Claron Griffin are in charge of this construction. Heber and Neta Poulson have had these family members visit at their home during August. Lester Curtis from Salt Lake City, his brother Clarence Curtis and his daughter of California, Evon Poulson and family of Granger and Dan and Debie Wheatly of Layton. Franklin and Jean Hansen attended the Golden WEdding reception in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daly at Panguitch. They saw old friends that they hadn't seen in years. Mr. and Mrs. Vard Coombs were in Panguitch on business. On August 29 Lenora LeFevre and Bishop Vard Coombs were the speakers in sacrament meeting. The congregation sang one number and Sidney Moosman was ordained a teacher. Scot Ormona and family of Pleasant Grove came to see Burns uid Blom Ormond. After he returned home he called to tell them that his father Raymond Ormond had a severe heart attack. |
