Show Tropic Topics I Marie Zohner and husband were recent visitors at the Norman Llttlefleld home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hobson and children, Denver, spent a I few days in Tropic visiting with 1 his mother, Luella Mangum and the Paul Mangums. Hannah Goulding visited with her parents last week. Reta Baldwin and John A. Davis visited with Ethel Hatch. Malen Mecham took his wife to Salt Lake City for a check up then on to Oak City to visit her brother and sister for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mecham have a new granddaughter, . born to their daughter Nancy and husband in Salt Lake City. They spent three days in Salt Lake City visiting with Nancy and family and took her other two children home. The Roy Shakespears enjoyed a visit from their daughter-in-law and granddaughter from Panguitch. The Brackenberry's from Calif, are here checking on their orchard. The Royal Alvey's received word that their grandson, Tracy Alvey, had been seriously injured in an automobile accident while visiting in Calif. Tracy is the son of Kenneth Alvey. Chert Feltner enjoyed a visit from her parents this week. Minerva Dutton received word that her son James had been transferred to Rexburg, Ida. He is an employee for Nelson Ricks Creamery. Stanley Ott and family, from Hawthorne, Nev. visited with his sisters and brother this week. Michael and Carolyn Ferrin were the speakers in sacrament meeting. The Ray Llttlefields visited with their aunt In Bicknell then went on a short tour of the eastern canyons and Mexican Hat area. Luella Mangum enjoyed a short visit from her sisters-in-law, Irene Campbell and sister Wanda. The Dexter Franc iscos made a trip to St George to have surgery on their baby's feet. Phyllis Stewart attended the wedding reception for her cousin in Boise, Ida. Paul Mangum attended the horse races in Ely, Nev. Clem and Clara Johnson attended their grandson's missionary testimonial In Provo. The Mateland Baugs were In Provo this past week. Paula and LeRoy Hughes and children visited with the Dean Wintch family. The Jack Chynoweths had two of their granddaughters from Iowa visiting with them this week. They are the daughters of their daughter Deaima and husband. The Leland Duel's are visiting with the Gam Haycock family, Dixie and Christien Shakespear visited in Kanab with their daughter Arvon and family. Also with E. R., who is working with the movies down there. Don't forget the Bryce Lion's Club Rodeo and dinner Saturday from 4-6 p.m. |
