Show Granddaughter Wins 'Juvenile Miss' Title Lana Lewis, nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garald Lewis of Henderson, Nev., and granddaughter of Mrs. Lyle MlUer of Panguitch, was named "Juvenile Miss All West Beginner Majorette," in the first All West Regional contest which was hdd at Citrus College In Antra, Calif. The region Includes Nevada, Utah, Arizona, California and Hawaii. The contest was Judged In the same way the Miss Majorette of America contest Is Judged, 40 percent twirling ability, 40 percent strutting ability, and 20 percent poise and personality, Lana won by placing first in both twirl and strut, and second in poise and personality. Juvenile division covers girls 7-10 years dd. Lana was also the winner of 10 other awards in the open contest held at the same time. She now has SI awards that she has won in the years she has been competing. Lana, who is a student at Gordon McCaw Elementary also hdds the title, Juvenile Miss Youth Fair Majorette 1976. She was first runner-up In the Juvenile Miss Majorette of Nevada contest and is a member of the Skylites Twirl Team which Is directed by Susie Hanson of Las Vegas.
