Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder 735-4203 Visiting at the Or las Riggs residence were Karol Folsom, Hellspring, Alberta, Canada; Judy I son and family, Ogden; the Sam Manes and family, Sunset; the Earl Riggs family, Clearfield; the George Barker family, Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wise, West Point brought her mother, Abbie Fallis home the latter part of the week and stayed for several days to visit. Larraine Marble and children, Ariz, and Barbara Dalton, Las Vegas arrived at the Lamar Barneys to visit awhile. They accompanied the La Mar Barneys to Springville to visit the Sherman Camerons. They attended sessions in the Salt Lake LDS Temple with Elder. Kerry Barney, Tooele and his parents, Gordon" Barneys: 2 t Word was received by Mr.' and Mrs. Sam Evans that their son, Vaughn had Just been sustained as a district leader on his mission at Toppenish, Wash. Word was received lately by the Wiley Huntingtons of a new grandson Aug. 24. His parents are Ben and Lynne Neilsen, Granger. The Jim Kaboni's, Kanab visited the Huntingtons. Wiley and Lucille Huntington visited the Allen Huntingtons In Kanab where they helped him on his new basement. Hal and Roma Wilcock, Cedar City held a cookware dinner at the Bruce Dal tons. Guests were the Bruce Greenhalghs, Panguitch; the Wayne Stubbs, Parowan and from here were Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Miles and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton visited in Koosharem and in Monroe with relatives. Shannon Clark and children, Kanab spent several days last week visiting the Grant Daltons. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans received word of a new granddaughter, her parents are Gary and Beverly Evans, Las Vegas. Visiting the Sam Evans were Elaine Canfield, St. George and her mother, Mrs. LeFevre, Enterprise; Myrtle Whitset and daughter, St George. Merlin Barnhurst, Salt Lake City came and took his mother Maggie Barnhurst to a funeral in Cedar City for her nephew, Sherril Saunders. - m Robert Wilson spent the weekend home with his parents,3 ..the Jesse Wilson: Also visiting wereiUula;and jUyxnoM LDoty, Logandale, Nev. ' The aaronic priesthood MIA went to Parowan last Tuesday evening to swim. Word was received here that Ricky Sawyer is slowly improving at the Valley View hospital, Fresno, Calif. His parents are still there to be near him. The Garth Heaps received word of a new granddaughter, her parents are Bishop and Mrs. Don Heaps, Cedar City. Visiting the Oliver Huntingtons were Ileta and Casey Dix, Roberta and April Barabas, Panguitch. Melodie Dix and friends visited them during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Huntington visited in Tropic with Mr. and Mrs. John Mecham. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Turek and their company the Vincent Tureks visited in Kanab with the Brent Tureks and were shown through their new home. Word was received by Mrs. Dick Perry that her daughter and grandson, Lori and J. X Franklin are now in New York visiting relatives. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Cloyd and Omega Campbell. Laretta Lowder and Kelly Franklin were graduated from the primary May Sawyer was released as a chorister from the primary and Ardis Evans was sustained in her place. Teachers released was Ardis Evans. Sustained as teachers were Carina Sawyer and Margo Miles. Tim Miles was sustained as a scoutmaster and an aaronic priesthood teacher. |
